Purchasing Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
to $ / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 00am to 04 : 00pm)
Review, process & order Parts & Service, Requisition, & Production orders as needed
Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
Estimates values according to knowledge of market price
Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid
Prepares purchase orders or bid requests by verifying specifications and price
Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations
Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories
Obtains purchased items by forwarding purchase orders to suppliers, monitoring, and expediting orders
Resolves shipping errors with suppliers
Approves invoices for payment
Purchasing Qualifications :
Must have excellent communication skills
Bachelor's degree or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Good computer skills required - knowledge of Database, Project Management, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software
Ability to adapt and think critically
Applicant may be subject to a background check
