Job Summary:
The Merchandise Planner is responsible for achieving sales and inventory plans for our iHeartRaves/ INTO THE AM/ Emazinglights brands and our Amazon Channel.
Primary Responsibilities of the Merchandise Planner:
- Partner with cross-functional departments to determine pre-season buys and reconcile financial plans and demand forecasts.
- Develop and maintain OTB (open to buy) to forecast inventory buys by SKU (style/color/size).
- Manage and grow associate planners
- Provide updated forecasts for the monthly open to buy process. Communicate issues and identify appropriate action steps.
- Forecast seasonal inventory at the category level.
- Analyze business on a weekly basis. Articulate findings to cross functional team to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Provide post season hindsight to identify and communicate learnings and recommended action steps for future seasons.
- Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities; compare sales data of the planned category to company sales and communicate major deviations to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Merchandise/ Finance/ Accounting or related field
- 3 years of experience experience managing an associate planner
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of merchandising KPIs - Inventory turns, Weeks of Stock, OTB goals.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Well versed in excel - VLOOKUP, PIVOTS
- Local to - Orange county. This is a hybrid position.

- Monday to Friday 9 am - 6 pm PST
