We're growing fast, and we’re looking for a driven, organized Operations Manager to join our team and keep our business running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:As the Operations Manager, you will ensure seamless store operations, manage staff, and optimize workflows to maintain an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be the key liaison between the store staff and ownership team, ensuring everything runs efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Store Operations Management:
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and effective communication between staff and ownership.
- Work with the ownership team to implement policies, goals, and strategies.
- Manage staff schedules, performance, and daily tasks.
- Maintain the store’s visual standards, ensuring displays are appealing and aligned with the brand.
- Monitor store performance metrics and provide feedback to ownership.
Team Leadership:
- Train, mentor, and support the team to deliver outstanding customer service and nurture strong selling skills aligned with Embark Fine Jewelry’s mission and brand style.
- Conduct weekly meetings with staff to ensure alignment with sales goals and company objectives.
- Provide constructive performance feedback and manage evaluations.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure staff delivers exceptional customer service at all times.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Develop strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring stock is optimized for customer demand.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and implement corrective actions.
Financial Management:
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning to meet revenue and expense goals.
- Analyze daily sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team on in-store promotions and events.
- Analyze sales data to inform promotional strategies.
- Oversee loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years of experience in retail management or a similar field (jewelry experience is a plus!).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Tech-savvy with experience using POS systems, Salesforce, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office.
- A problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude.
- Passion for jewelry and luxury retail is a bonus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
