Below are the job duties and expectations for the LPN Night Supervisor.
- Accountability of Nurses and STNA’s of the following:
- Showers
- Sign off on all shower sheets
- Make sure showers are complete as scheduled
- Follow up with residents who received bed baths instead of showers and any refusals
- Charting
- POC Charting
- UDA’s
- Call Lights- must be answered timely
- Wheelchair Cleaning Schedule
- Passing Ice Water- cups must be dated
- Check and Changes Every 2 Hours
- Weights
- Walking Rounds
- Double Brief- not allowed
- HS Care Provided- residents must be changed out of day clothing and into pajamas or gowns
- Issue disciplinary action for any of the above standards if they are not met
- Greet new admissions and acclimate them to the facility
- Communicate issues with management
- Address resident and family after hour concerns
