Situated directly across from the sugar-white sand beaches of the Gulf Coast, this stunning new property offers an incredible opportunity for an ambitious Sales Manager to be part of something brand new from the ground up.
This role is focused on group and catering revenue, working to establish the resort as the go-to destination for SMERF, sports teams, associations, and corporate retreats. You will play a key role in building a strong client base, driving both group room nights and catered events, and positioning the resort as the premier venue for memorable gatherings and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify, solicit, and secure new group and catering business across key segments (SMERF, sports teams, associations, and corporate retreats).
- Develop strategies to maximize catering revenue by targeting meetings, conferences, banquets, and social events.
- Research and develop new feeder markets and business opportunities for the Gulf Shores market.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive outreach, networking, and site visits.
- Conduct regular prospecting via cold calls, email & digital campaigns, tradeshows, and industry events.
- Create and present compelling group and catering proposals to secure new business.
Group & Catering Communication & Collaboration
- Lead Group Resume Meetings to communicate group and catering needs, ensuring seamless execution across departments.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, sales, catering, and operations teams, ensuring all event details are effectively communicated.
- Partner with the culinary and banquet teams to create customized catering solutions that align with group needs.
- Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize group rates, catering minimums, and overall profitability.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Stay informed on local demand trends, competitor offerings, and regional group and catering opportunities.
- Monitor tourism, corporate expansions, sports events, and industry trends that could drive business to the resort.
- Identify opportunities to grow Gulf Shores’ group and catering market, positioning Embassy Suites as a premier meetings and event destination.
Technology & Sales Reporting
- Utilize Hilton sales systems, CRM tools, and digital platforms to track leads, bookings, and sales performance.
- Maintain accurate sales reports and provide updates on group and catering revenue, conversion rates, and market performance.
