Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services, including washing, drying, and folding linens and garments. Your commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment is essential to ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels using appropriate washing techniques and detergents.
- Manage dry cleaning services for guests' garments as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in organizing storage areas for cleaning supplies and laundry items.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
