As an IT Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting our creative teams, and contributing to the success of our game development projects. Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the studio's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and workstations.
- Ensure the reliability and security of IT systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
- Oversee IT Infrastructure
- Work closely with our external IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide guidance on technical issues, set clear objectives, and execute on all team IT requests.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information and protect against potential threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IT security.
- Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors for procurement of hardware, software, and IT services.
- Assist with negotiating contracts, manage vendor relationships, and stay informed about emerging technologies.
- User Support:
- Provide technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the overall technical proficiency of the team.
- Technology Planning:
- Work closely with senior management to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the company's goals and projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, making recommendations for technology adoption.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or Senior Admin with an interest in leadership in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, security, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with game development processes and tools is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Location
- Onsite or Hybrid (in office 3 days a week)
Base Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 annually based on location and experience.
