The IT Manager is a leader within the IT department, reporting to the CIO, and is responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of the IT Support Specialists and Analysts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional technology services across the firm. The IT Manager works with the CIO to provide strategic direction to the technology roadmap, expert-level oversight to all technology operations, including technology support, enterprise applications, networking, infrastructure and cybersecurity and escalated assistance as needed to resolve complex, high-priority, and high-impact technical issues while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manages the daily IT operations and optimizes resource allocation to meet the firm's technological and operational goals.
- Oversee the efficient resolution of complex, high-priority, and high-impact technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent customer experiences.
- Establish and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for technology systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and oversees security risk assessments.
- Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and enhance service delivery.
- Serves as the escalation point for the most complex technical issues, demonstrating deep expertise in firm-standard software applications, computer hardware, A / V conferencing systems, networking, cybersecurity, remote access tools, and mobile devices.
- Provide oversight, quality control, and testing of new application deployments to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technology Support Specialists and Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high performance.
- Develop staffing plans, evaluate performance, and provide feedback and training to enhance technical and customer service skills.
- Act as a key contributor to the IT roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve support processes, tools, and technologies.
- Partner with stakeholders across the firm to understand evolving technology needs and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Oversees the planning and execution of large-scale IT implementations, such as system migrations, office expansions, and technology rollouts.
- Manages network systems, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Implement and monitor security protocols, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions to protect organizational data and systems.
- Manages scheduled network maintenance, facilitates user account and access management, develops workflows, assists with incident response efforts and enforces cybersecurity policies to protect sensitive legal data and ensure regulatory compliance.
Physical Requirements
Primarily sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers.
