What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of On-Call and Engagement position at EMBERHOPE CONNECTIONS, LLC?
To be a successful On-Call Supervisor you must become able to do the following always:
- Ensure a trauma-informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
- Oversee the creation, implementation, staffing, and maintenance of all units assigned to the Support Services Department including On-Call Coordinators and Engagement Specialists.
- Provide direct supervision and support of supervisees utilizing the Company model for supervision, Supervision for Success.
- Facilitate the collaborative processes between the On-Call Coordinators and the Engagement Specialists.
- Analyze operational performance to identify potential gains and opportunities and drive systematic improvements throughout the departments.
- Stay current on accreditation standards and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) regulations to ensure the continuing conformance for quality programming.
- Be willing and able to be available 24/7/365 to support program needs.
- Participate in projects or initiatives related to support services at the local and state level.
- Create and monitor the budget for the department's financial success.
- Review and approve required documents and reports as needed.
- Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
To qualify for this job, you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Three years of child welfare experience.
- Demonstrate success in managing projects and process improvement programs.
- 21 years of age.
- Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.
- Maintain company-required training.

Physical working requirements:
- Ability to travel, driving company or personal vehicle including at night.
- Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Able to walk stairs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
- Employees are subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally, inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
