To be a successful Intake & Admissions Coordinator you must become able to do the following always:
- Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
- Provide quality customer service to all internal and external customers (via phone calls, e-mail, etc.).
- Gather all necessary referrals and payment information from customers seeking services.
- Identify and offer appropriate placement options to requesting customers. Make concerted efforts to find placement for children with siblings, relatives/kin, in home communities, and same school areas. Assess child needs and family ability and preferences to support placement stability.
- Make initial contact for foster parent inquiries and enter the foster parent profile in the company’s electronic client health record system.
- Provide data entry support including accurately inputting, uploading, and reconciling required data into the electronic record system.
- Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
