As the Commercial Client Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting Embers’ Commercial Members by delivering exceptional service and managing key operational tasks. You will work closely with third-party vendors to order appraisals and title work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in every transaction. Your expertise in commercial-specific software will enable smooth workflow management, underwriting, and loan documentation. Additionally, you will assist in opening new accounts, cross-selling business services, and providing account maintenance to build strong, lasting relationships with business members.
RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH:
Ensure Seamless Member Support - You will be the go-to resource for Commercial Members, ensuring outstanding needs are addressed promptly and efficiently. By maintaining an organized system for tracking and alerting staff about member needs, you will provide transparency and ensure issues are resolved quickly. You will also analyze reports, identify errors, and offer clear explanations, making complex information accessible and actionable.
Monitor and Maintain Commercial Member Relationships - With a keen eye on deposit products and member accounts, you will proactively identify and address potential issues, collaborating with borrowers and relationship managers to ensure smooth operations. Your troubleshooting skills will be essential in resolving concerns within the core processing system, supporting both members and internal teams effectively.
Manage Vendor and Compliance Processes - You will work closely with vendors, including title companies and appraisers, ensuring that all commercial offerings are accurate, complete, and audit-ready. Your attention to detail and regulatory knowledge will help maintain compliance and uphold Embers’ standards of excellence.
Leverage Technology for Operational Excellence - Becoming proficient in Embers’ commercial technology platforms will be a priority. You will stay informed on new software releases and enhanced capabilities, optimizing processes and maximizing efficiencies within the Commercial Department. Your ability to navigate and utilize these systems will directly contribute to the department’s success.
Support Embers’ Professional Standards - You will demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making while maintaining the confidentiality of member information. Your role will contribute to fostering a positive reputation for Embers, ensuring that every interaction upholds our commitment to exceptional service and professionalism.
Other Duties as Assigned - Assist with various training-related projects and initiatives as needed to support Embers' talent development goals.

AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE:
Education:
Bachelor or Associate Degree in Office Administration, Business, Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience & Knowledge:
2 years of office management experience, preferably within a credit union or financial services setting.
Knowledge of Embers-specific procedures and products is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of business loans, collateral, and financial service products.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including professionalism and diplomacy.
Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, email, and other relevant tools.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
Professionalism, demonstrating a professional appearance and attitude, setting an example for others.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
