Our client, an innovative AI / ML-driven software startup focused on revolutionizing R&D processes in major consumer product and chemical companies, is looking to onboard a Senior Director of Talent Acquisition. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the CEO.
This startup has raised approximately $50M in funding from one of the leading venture capital firms and is already working with around 3500 lab professionals within a $20B industry leader, generating high-seven figures in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Their cutting-edge software is akin to the transformation SalesForce brought to sales and marketing, eliminating outdated methods like pen / paper and spreadsheets, thereby enhancing the efficiency of chemistry and materials science research teams.
In this dynamic role, you will act as both a strategist and a hands-on recruiter, taking complete responsibility for establishing and running the internal recruiting function. You will actively manage multiple hiring pipelines across every department and create effective, repeatable talent acquisition processes while introducing innovative recruiting systems and tools throughout the organization.
Important Note : This role is exclusively open to candidates with substantial experience in building and managing talent functions from the ground up within early to high-growth software / tech startups.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create the Recruiting Function : Develop a robust recruiting strategy by establishing scalable systems and managing external recruiting resources to attract and hire exceptional talent across all departments including engineering, data science, go-to-market, operations, and finance.
- Talent Management Setup : Oversee the implementation of Rippling for efficient talent management.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting : Own and execute every stage of the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing candidates to extending offers and facilitating onboarding and retention.
- Enhance Candidate Experience : Deliver a top-tier candidate experience by cultivating relationships that extend beyond traditional recruitment.
- Process Optimization : Develop and refine recruiting processes that are efficient, scalable, and adaptable to the fast-moving startup landscape.
- Collaboration : Work closely with hiring managers to define roles, establish recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Data Analysis : Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to fine-tune sourcing strategies and promote continuous improvement.
