**Bus Driver**
**Job Overview:**
Join our team as a Bus Driver and play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of our Head start children. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about providing reliable and efficient transportation services while maintaining a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
**Duties:**
- Safely operate a bus to transport passengers to designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers during transit
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the bus
- Assist passengers, including senior care individuals, with boarding and disembarking
- Manage passenger behavior effectively, especially in school bus driving settings
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish a plus
**Requirements:**
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive various types of buses, including school buses, with a valid CDL (preferably with an "S" and "P" endorsement)
- Proficiency in English; multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
- Experience in behavior management, particularly in a transportation setting
- Ability to write reports and maintain accurate records
- Prior experience in driving children and/or educating passengers on safety protocols is advantageous
- Ability to pass a physical examination, background check, and drug and alcohol screenings
