Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Familiar with different HVAC system types and their applications.
- HVAC systems selection, sizing, and design (ductwork and piping).
- Experienced with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency Standards.
- Engineering experience with energy efficiency, developing or supporting performance-based projects or energy services.
- Perform Heating, Cooling Load Calculations, and Title 24 Compliance calculations using Energy-Pro programs.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to write technical proposals and reports.
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years’ experience in HVAC Design.
- Experience in the mechanical construction industry is a plus.
- EIT is highly preferred, and a PE is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHPD codes are a plus
- Independent decision-making is required.
- Computer skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP or Revit is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Compensation Range: $120,000 - $130,000 per year
