Job Summary:
eTEC Mechanical is looking for a mechanical contracting summer intern to assist in Operations/Preconstruction activities along with assisting lead foreman in the trades of sheet metal, plumbing, and piping on commercial construction job sites.

Job Summary:
eTEC Mechanical is looking for a mechanical contracting summer intern to assist in Operations/Preconstruction activities along with assisting lead foreman in the trades of sheet metal, plumbing, and piping on commercial construction job sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain knowledge of multiple departments within the mechanical contracting industry including Operations, Preconstruction, and Service.
- Assist in the bid process of construction projects such as system take-offs, obtaining vendor and material pricing, and scope reviewal meetings.
- Support project managers through the submittal and design process of mechanical and plumbing projects.
- Gain hands on experience within the three major mechanical contracting trades: Sheet metal, Piping, and Plumbing.
- Assist foreman on job sites by installing mechanical systems.
- Learn how to safely and properly use power tools required within the trades.
- Must have completed, or working towards a bachelors degree (Mechanical or Electrical engineering required)
- No experience required

- Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.
