ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend project turnover meetings with the sales and project teams.
- Design building automation systems and create project submittals using project plans and specifications.
- Write Eikon logic files direct digital control systems and third-party integration.
- Work with other engineers in completing drawings and design packages while cross checking design details in electrical power, control panels, relay logic, wiring and control devices in association with HVAC.
- Produce system layouts and controls design based upon construction documents.
- Write control sequences and coordinate design.
- Assist with field start-up and checkout, as required.
- Identify any gaps or ambiguity in the project and submit RFIs as required.
- Provide programming support to field technicians and specialists.
- Select and order controllers and devices for projects.
- Train facility owners / operators.
- Obtain field markups and revise the submittals with any changes for owner records.
- Maintain backups of all project documentation including submittals and record drawings on Procore.
- Escalate critical and / or sensitive issues to the Engineering Managers / Project Managers with recommendation for resolution.
- Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed.
