Your Role:
The Designer is responsible for developing process packages for high purity specialty gas and chemical delivery systems. Designer will execute product designs and drawings that meet safety and functional requirements. Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Utilize CAD applications to develop drawings suitable for manufacturing and customer use, from product documentation, assembly models, drawings, bill of materials, and schematics
- Perform transactions in MRP/ERP systems to create or update bills of materials
- Connect drawings to parts
- Process Engineering Change Requests which would result in revisions to drawings, bill of materials, and as-built records
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and commercial as needed
- Support new product integration into manufacturing
- Develop and implement improvement plans for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvements
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Design, Computer Drafting, or other technical drafting certificate disciplines
- 1 years of experience in SolidWorks including part modeling, advanced assembly, and drawing detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of drafting practices and procedures, basic math( including geometry)
- 3D modeling/visualization experience
- Experience in the use of document management system
- Experience in MRP/ERP system such as SAP
- Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate across media and collaborate in a cross functional team environment
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Attention to detail and ability work in aligning with business needs and priorities
