In this role, you will work with a team of scientists to provide advanced material solutions to the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry and a passion for material research and development.

Your Role
We are seeking an R&D Scientist to join our Semiconductor Solutions R&D team. In this role, you will work with a team of scientists to provide advanced material solutions to the semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organic and inorganic chemistry and a passion for material research and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and synthesize new organic and inorganic materials for Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) for next-generation semiconductor devices
- Optimize formulation, process, synthesis, and purification of materials
- Characterize materials to establish quality-controlled products
- Investigate material/formulation & process systematically, solve issues, and guide the project's development
- Compile data on time and support the introduction of products to customers
- Manage and lead research subjects assigned by the team leader
- Complete routine lab duties and instrument maintenance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines
- 3 years of experience with chemical synthesis and analysis
- PhD Degree in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Surface Chemistry, or other scientific disciplines
- Experience with organometallics, nanoparticles, or dispersion technology
- Proficient in materials characterization and hands-on experience with spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-vis, NMR), thermal analysis (TGA and DSC), and microscopic techniques (SEM, AFM, and TEM)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, learn, and adopt new concepts or techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation abilities
- Self-motivated with good attention to detail and capable of setting priorities
