Your Role:
The Production Technician Operator position is a challenging, hands-on, rewarding job opportunity for people who want to join a growing business that offers room for growth and advancement. The Production Technician (Operator) position requires working a rotating 12-hour shift and being able to perform elementary and some complex operations. Specific responsibilities include:
Knowledge of hazards of the products, container handling and delivery system operation and successfully complete and document all mandatory EH&S and regulatory training
Complete training relevant to HAZWOPER First Responder Awareness Level
Carry out manufacturing operational tasks, including processing of hazardous materials, labeling of waste products and delivering to the proper waste storage area
Conduct container change-outs using associated container handling equipment
Maintain on-site gas and chemical delivery systems, abatement systems and associated equipment
Knowledge of safety requirements on site
Physical Attribute:
Occasionally wear a full-face air purifying respirator and other PPE
Lift up to 50 pounds cylinders with assistant
Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
1 years of experience in chemical facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Operational experience in chemical manufacturing industry
Experience within the chemical industry
Knowledge of safety regulation working around chemicals
