Your Role: This Associate Director of North America Evidence and Value Development (NEVD) is accountable for leading the development and execution of North America Evidence and Value Development. The Associate Director NEVD is responsible for strategic plans, tactical plans, and related budget planning within the Neurology & Immunology franchise, reporting to the Senior Director, Neurology & Immunology - NEVD. The Associate Director leads planning, driving, and implementing the interdisciplinary, local health economics and comparative effectiveness evidence generation plan aligning to the Neurology & Immunology medical strategies. You deliver health economic and comparative effectiveness models and dossiers to demonstrate the additional therapeutic value of EMD Serono's products. The Associate Director develops RWE studies and/or analyses in close collaboration with medical colleagues. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Who You Are: Have an in depth business knowledge of the US biotech/specialty environment and US payers (commercial and government), market access and evidence-based medicine area and challenges. Strong communications and presentation skills to the cross functional team and external audiences. Strong written and oral communication skills are critical. Strong conceptual, methodological, and analytical skills.

- Developing key deliverables such as publications of study results, writing reports, presentations to internal and external working groups, advisory boards, networks, or congresses and training of internal stakeholders and subsidiaries, obtaining necessary internal approvals (i.e., legal, compliance, PSMR, DataVision).
- Providing evidence-based, scientific support of local submissions (i.e., AMCP Dossier) and presentations (within assigned regions and/or accounts) to health technology appraisal, reimbursement (e.g., managed care) and/or pricing authorities in USA.
- Development and execution of HEOR strategic plan, tactical plan, budget planning as well as delivering to those plans, having full responsibility for HEOR budget execution for the indication.
- Improve products or services and define processes and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or postgraduate qualification in Health Economics or Public Health / Health Services Research.
- 3 years of practical experience in health economics and outcomes research in pharmaceutical industry, CRO, academia or other health related consulting company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstration of comprehensive mastery of health economics and/or epidemiological statistical methodologies, as well as ability to apply such knowledge in a concrete business context to support patient access to therapy.
