What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Medical Receptionist/Scheduler position at Emerald Coast Physical Therapy?
A locally-owned orthopedic out-patient clinic located on the white shores of Destin, FL is seeking a front office medical receptionists ASAP. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to start full-time (32-40 hours per week Mon-Fri). We also offer a full-time 4 day work week flex option for those that are interested.
We are a small clinic that prioritizes patient centered care. As such we have a one-on-one patient to therapist model. We are looking for someone who can add value to our growing clinic.
We are looking for those that are technically proficient with most computer office/productivity software. Money handling is required.

Qualifications: Own transportation, previous office experience, willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Ideal Candidate: Speaks Spanish and English fluently is a skilled professional that is passionate about patient satisfaction and making a real difference.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish.
- Utilize EHR systems and Microsoft Office for administrative tasks and documentation.
- Process medical collections and manage billing inquiries as needed.
