Emerald Queen Hotel & Casinos is hiring: Audio/Visual Tech II in Fife

Join our team as an Audio / Visual Technician II and contribute to the seamless execution of high-quality events. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio and video equipment, including advanced systems such as the Newtek Tricaster and 3Play Machine. You will play a key role in configuring and modifying event templates, ensuring all equipment is properly installed and aligned with organizational standards. Collaborating with event staff, you will oversee the successful implementation of audio / visual requirements and assist in venue design and configuration. Additionally, you will manage inventory, repair and service equipment as needed, and provide timely emergency support to ensure uninterrupted operations. This position demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.Starting pay is $28.65 / hr, increasing to $31.04 upon successful completion of our 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalent is requiredAssociate's degree in Computer Science or related training in a technology related discipline preferredRelated technical training in Windows, POS Systems, telephone systems, audio / visual systems and computer design is requiredExperience & Requirements : Must have a minimum of one year experience in an IT environment for an organization of comparable size and IT needsMust have 6 months experience as an A / V Tech IMust have verifiable ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware problems, network set up and POS systemsMust have a valid Washington State Driver's License and proof of insurancePhysical Requirements : Must have the ability to stand, sit and squat for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to work and concentrate under busy and limited conditionsMust be comfortable working in closed or high areas, (including closets, ladders or lifts)Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environmentAdditional Requirements : Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidaysMust be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
