Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Benefits Administrator to join our HR team for a long-term temporary assignment! This role will provide essential support during a period of transition within our benefits department. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling administrative tasks, reconciling benefits, and ensuring accurate data management. While this is initially a temporary position, there is a potential for it to become a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Audit and edit timesheets for accuracy
- Reconcile benefit accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Audit weekly, monthly, and quarterly benefits reports to verify new hire enrollment and termination processing
- Enter new hire onboarding information into the HRIS system
- Distribute and track benefit enrollment forms
- Audit benefit enrollment paperwork for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with unemployment claims processing if needed
- Process payments to benefit vendors if needed
Qualifications and Skills
- 2-3 years of professional administrative or office experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus
- Prior HR or benefits administration experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule: Monday - Friday (25-30 hours per week)
*Flexible, but would like hours to be consistent
*Need to start at 8:00AM on Monday's
Compensation: $24.00 - $29.00 Hourly
