Emerge is actively recruiting for a direct-hire CNC Mill Machinist role in Cleveland, OH, with a growing manufacturer of precision parts. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills , expertise in machining various metals, and strong troubleshooting skills. We are seeking candidates for teh 2nd shift at this time.

Our client offers :

Hourly pay : $23-$27 per hour with a s hift premium of 20% for 2nd shift.
Benefits : Excellent package starting on day one.
Sign-on bonus : $5,000 to get you started!

Responsibilities :

Set up materials on CNC mills.

Use downloader software to stage and distribute programs.

Select, pre-set, and install tooling into machine registers.

Monitor machine performance and address issues during program runs.

Keep machines clean and free from chips and debris.

Work closely with CNC Programming and Inspection teams to resolve challenges.

Document work, including time logs, and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational or trade school preferred.

Experience : 2 years setting up and operating CNC mills, machining a variety of metals.

Skills : Knowledge of speeds, feeds, step-downs, and cutting tools.

Preferred : Experience with Fanuc controls.

Tools : Proficient with precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.

Additional Requirements :

Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).

Must pass a background check, including drug screening, criminal history, and physical exam.
