Overview
We are hiring a part time Datacenter Operations Technicians (DCO) at our client locations in Piscataway, NJ. The DCO will provide services pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the datacenter equipment and processes. This role delivers technical support by performing system/network installation, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and track all IT-related equipment
- Oversee and track all shipping and receiving
- Manage installation and removal of IT equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair IT equipment failures
- Perform cable installation, documentation, planning, and tracking
- Load basic device configuration and set IP and MAC addresses
- Complete firmware and BIOS level upgrades/downgrades
- Perform technical installation/replacement of device internal components on non-enterprise level devices
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in a datacenter setting
- 3 years’ experience in desktop support
- Proficient technical, detail oriented and problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Positive and constructive attitude

- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Part time hours are 20-24 hours per week. The schedule is Thursday and Friday 6pm – 12am; Saturday 8am – 5pm
- Pay is $25-28 per hour
