Emerge is actively recruiting for an exciting new opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative with a fantastic client company in the Orlanda. Florida area! Our client is a chemical manufacturer with 60 years of history and a well-established customer base. This Sales Representative will maintain, nurture, and grow relationships with existing customers while exploring new markets for potential relationship development opportunities. This is a work-from-home office position (but you MUST be located in the Orlando territory for regular customer visits) and all needed business supplies will be provided. Highly lucrative compensation package includes a base salary, generous commission plan, car and phone allowance and full benefits! $300K proven overall earnings potential.


Summary:

This position is responsible for servicing the customer base within an assigned territory and for recruiting new customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Service existing accounts by solving problems, addressing customer concerns and updating pricing.

· Coordinate between customers and our plants to ensure excellent customer service and to minimize problems.

· Complete a bi-annual written survey of bulk tanks within assigned territory.

· Write up work orders for repairs, tank installations, and upgrades as needed.

· Attend bid openings for municipalities.

· Analyze territory for market share, acquire new business, and open new accounts.

· Participate in trade shows as required.

· Form relationships with local NSPI, FRWA, AWWA and other chapters related to the Water Treatment and the Swimming Pool Industry

· Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Sales – Must have prospective skills, ability to meet sales goals, negotiation skills, product knowledge, presentation skills, and a motivation for sales.


Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.


Computer Skills - Proficient use of MS software particularly Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint or similar software.

Education and/or Experience:

A minimum of five years of outside sales experience. Minimum of two years of college work. Industrial sales and customer service background are preferred but not required.
