What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Emergent Professional Resources L.P. (EPR)?
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst on behalf of our specialist insurance client here in Houston! This role will be responsible for closing down the current financial sanctions system, will be working closely with multiple teams including IT, Change management and Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UAT phase by creating strategies, plans, and scripts. Manage defects and ensure all business teams complete UAT to deliver a functional and quality solution.
- Work with the Project Manager to identify, plan, and track project milestones. Manage technical and resource dependencies, and escalate issues to senior leaders as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
- Document business functionality and operational requirements. Conduct a thorough gap analysis to support business objectives and benefits.
- Conduct training needs assessments and develop a training plan to ensure successful business implementation and user adoption of the new solution.
- Create and execute communication and change plans to ensure business awareness and participation in requirements gathering, UAT, and training.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years as a Mid-to-Senior Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst in a medium to large IT organization, with experience in business system replacement projects.
- Strong understanding of multiple system integration approaches, requirements gathering, integration testing, and cross-team UAT strategies
- Detail-oriented with a passion for driving business process excellence through technology.
