What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Room Physician position at Emerging Tech, LLC?
Emerging Tech is seeking compassionate and skilled Emergency Room Physicians to deliver comprehensive medical care to veterans in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, utilizing cutting-edge technology and resources to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
What You'll Do:
- Provide care that covers the range of Emergency services as would be provided in a state-of the-art health care treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding the currently recognized national standards.
- Initiate appropriate social work referrals for all identified homeless veterans and for patients who do not have primary care providers, but who appear regularly in the ED
- Attend staff meetings as required by the facility Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designee. Contractor to communicate with COR on this requirement and report any conflicts that may interfere with compliance with this requirement.
- Document care given and select appropriate Evaluation and Management (E&M) procedure codes in the current EHR.
- Looking for day-time physicians that can work 10 hour shifts, between the hours of 1am - 9pm.
What You'll Bring
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of residency training in Emergency Medicine.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States.
- Hold current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to veteran-centered care.
