Emerson is seeking a Director of Inside Sales based in Stafford, Texas. This role involves leading all aspects of inside sales operations, including leading a dedicated team of professionals to drive revenue growth, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the successful implementation of training programs. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Customer Care, the Director will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets while enhancing customer satisfaction.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will :
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Application Engineering, Customer Service and Training teams.
- Mentor, coach and develop team members to optimize their performance and professional growth.
- Establish clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for each team and monitor progress towards achievement.
- Providing an interface between the sales channel and the company.
- Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market penetration and improve inside sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Analyze sales data and market insights to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
- Customer Service & Resolutions Excellence:
- Ensure that the Customer Service team delivers prompt and effective support to customers, addressing inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner providing a Unmatched Customer Experience which provides Emerson a differentiation in the market place to drive revenue growth.
- Champion a customer-centric approach throughout the organization, emphasizing the importance of building and maintaining strong customer relationships and improving collaboration and communication with our Channel Partners.
- Application Engineering Support:
- Ensure the Application Engineering team provides prompt and effective technical support to Channel Partners and customers, address product-related inquiries, facilitate the resolution of technical issues and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product enhancements and new product offerings.
- Order Engineering:
- Ensure the Order Engineering team efficiently and accurately enters orders.
- Collaborate across the organization to automate order entry.
- Training and Development:
- Working in conjunction with PRM’s other Training resources, oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for Channel Partner sales representatives, customer service agents, and other relevant teams.
- Ensure that training programs are aligned with business objectives and designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Bachelor Degree in a related field such as engineering, business, marketing, etc.
- 10 years experience in a technical sales environment with progressive levels of responsibility required
- Experience with managing and developing direct reports
- Strong understanding of sales processes, customer service principles, and training methodologies
- Strong leadership, organizational, written, oral and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided
- Bilingual – English & Spanish preferred
