Primary Duties:
- Operating Machinery: Operate and control automatic or manual screen printing machines to print designs on various garments or materials.
Secondary Duties:
- Setup and Preparation: Prepare screens, set up printing jobs, and adjust settings to ensure accurate printing.
- Printing: Print designs according to specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Ink Mixing: Mix and adjust ink colors as necessary to match design requirements.
- Quality Control: Inspect printed garments/materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the printing process.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, such as designers, prepress technicians, and finishers, to ensure smooth production flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
