IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :
- Develop and implement a strong sales strategy targeting OEMs, end-users, and system integrators across the U.S.
- Identify and pursue high-value business opportunities in key industries, bringing to bear in-depth market knowledge to drive growth.
- Show leadership by giving influential presentations, demonstrating solutions, and analyzing return on investment.
- Accountable for software solution orders, including forecasting and reporting.
- Achieve growth sales targets.
- Manage the software solution pipeline creation, management, and analysis.
- Identify, pursue, and win key target accounts.
- Support Distribution partner ecosystem to grow software sales.
- Participate in defining campaigns and initiatives for lead generation.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with senior and executive (C-level) decision-makers, addressing complex customer needs with tailored solutions.
- Partner with internal teams (product management, engineering, and marketing) to align Emerson’s software capabilities with market demands.
- Influence product development by sharing insights on customer challenges, competitive trends, and emerging market needs.
- Leverage CRM tools like Salesforce to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and track sales performance.
- Matrix leadership of the sales team. Help the extended team to find and win new customers.
- Represent Emerson at industry events, trade shows, and forums, positioning Emerson's software solutions as a market leader.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and technology advancements to maintain Emerson's competitive edge.
