The HR Recruiter/Assistant’s duties involve a wide range of support activities, from managing client job ads, sourcing and screening applicants, coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database. In the beginning, there will be a strong focus on posting jobs, sourcing and screening candidates along with setting up interviews. The HR recruiter/assistant’s skills we’re looking for include excellent organization ability, loves to learn, has familiarity with HR software, including really and strong communication skills. You will be trained to assist HR managers in the whole recruitment lifecycle (e.g. Onboarding new hires and candidate sourcing). Ultimately, you’ll ensure your assigned clients' HR departments are organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire and retain our clients’ employees.
Responsibilities
- Learn the complete onboarding process from sourcing & screening candidates and update our database
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources team members
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports for our clients relating to staffing, recruitment,
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.)
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant or relevant human resources/ administrative position preferred
- Degree or pursuing one in Human Resources preferred
- Ability to work and meet goals without supervision
- Strong Microsoft Skills ; Excel and Word
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS preferred
- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases helpful
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communications skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
