Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Intern, you’ll learn about the systems and initiatives used by the Creative Department. You’ll learn our social media strategies, design and content creation processes, and best practices in the digital world that aim to propel our brand into the future with creativity and consistency. You’ll gain insights into department standards, build practical / technical skills, and learn to manage time in a fast-paced environment

Duties

Assist the creative department in development and execution of concepts and campaigns across multiple channels.
Ensure there is a robust content calendar across all platforms
Research up and coming platforms and competitors.
Collaborate with the team on SEO initiatives to improve website visibility and performance.
Help maintain and update the company website.
Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages according to brand identity.

Requirements

A strong passion for social media & content creation

Well versed with platforms such as Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok, Facebook and YouTube

Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and social media marketing techniques.

Experience with Wix, WordPress, Squarespace or willingness to learn quickly.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not mandatory.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
