- Greet and assist customers with their purchases, providing exceptional customer service.
- Stock, organize, and display vegetables and produce to ensure products are presented attractively and remain fresh.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, including tidying up the stand, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Answer customer questions regarding the different types of vegetables and products, offering helpful recommendations when needed.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the stand each day, including arranging products, setting up signage, and ensuring everything is properly stored.
- Ensure proper storage of produce to maintain quality and minimize waste.
- Assist with inventory tracking and notify the manager when stock is running low or items need to be reordered.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry items (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
