What are the responsibilities and job description for the A/V & Events Support Manager position at Emmanuel College?
The Information Technology Department at Emmanuel College seeks an A / V & Events Support Manager to manage the audio / visual technologies on campus and to manage technology event support to the Emmanuel College community as a valued member of the IT Services and Support team. Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, the A / V & Event Support Manager will manage, improve, and maintain all A / V and some non-A / V technologies in all classrooms, conference rooms and event spaces. Maintaining an inventory of all A / V equipment for age, functionality and maintenance schedules is also an essential function of this role. The A / V & Event Support Manager will be responsible for the set up and support for a variety of campus events (including evenings and weekends). Other responsibilities will include providing technology support and training to users on a variety of technologies, measuring and reporting on A / V and event services, as well as initiating budget proposals and executing projects to ensure all A / V technologies meet life cycle planning efforts.
Requirements :
Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a computer related science or an equivalent combination of education, certificates and experience. Candidates should have three to six years of related technology and vendor management experience. Advanced knowledge of audio / visual system infrastructure, design, and configurations is essential. Additionally, knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and general networking principals along with experience providing quality customer support in a technology support and services environment are strongly preferred.
