Emmaus, is a private non-profit agency with over 25 years experience developing and operating shelters and supportive housing programs for homeless families and individuals. Emmaus is seeking qualified candidates for an opening in our Facilities Department for a janitor/housekeeper.
Responsibilities
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must have a valid drivers license in good standing
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform routine inspection activities
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notify management of need for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
- Previous related work experience
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
