About the Company
Manage the logistics and warehouse operations for all Emmi Desserts sites in USA. Provide the leadership and oversight for the total company logistics and warehousing to include intra-company shipments, imports, 3rd party warehouse management as well as developing logistics strategy to meet our future needs.
About the Role
Directly lead the logistics and warehouse operations Emmi Desserts company to include transportation for raw materials and finished goods. Establishes metrics and successfully delivers logistics results in four production plants and warehouses. Oversees internal warehouse operations ensuring sufficient staffing of trained employees to meet all logistics requirements. Coordinates the transportation and storage of imports. Ensures cost effective 3rd party warehousing is available to meet daily operations and supports strategic direction of the company. Develops distribution / network strategy that integrates four separate operating companies and imports. Manages internal fleet assets and drivers. Support development of interim production planning and inventory management tools pending a full ERP roll out. Become a key member of the ERP selection and implementation team. Supports production planning and warehousing capacity analysis. Develops, tracks and delivers KPI’s. Develop budgets and deliver financial results. Identify and implement supply chain improvement projects to deliver continuous improvement for the entire engaging employees in this process. Collaborate with sales and operations to proactively identify and resolve customer service issues.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 10 years of related supply chain/operations experience in leadership roles of increasing responsibility
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly skilled in building relationships, influencing others, leading change and developing talent.
- Good MS Office skills
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology; experience identifying improvement opportunities and leading teams to complete projects.
- Proven record of delivering results.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and obtain necessary “buy in” from stakeholders.
- Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Able to travel between locations in NJ and Long Island routinely
- Experience utilizing ERP systems required and previous implementation experience preferred
- Bi-Lingual English/Spanish preferred
