Job Summary
The Warehouse Systems Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's WMS. This position works closely with other members of the operations team to ensure that the WMS is running smoothly and efficiently. This role involves system maintenance, user support, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Monitor and maintain the company's WMS to ensure it is running optimally
· Provide user support to warehouse personnel and other stakeholders
· Troubleshoot any technical issues related to the WMS and coordinate with IT as needed to resolve them
· Manage system configurations and updates, ensuring that they are properly tested and implemented
· Fosters a positive work environment, promotes teamwork, and resolves conflicts as necessary
· Actively participates on teams to improve workplace safety, reduce waste and improve factory efficiencies
· Performs regular inventory cycle-counts
· Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for the WMS
· Assist with user training and onboarding as needed
· Work collaboratively with other members of the operations team to improve processes and optimize the use of the WMS
· Monitor system performance and generate reports on key metrics as needed
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to WMS administration
Education, Experience, Skills, and/or Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, logistics, or a related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of experience administering an ERP, WMS, or similar system
- Strong computer and database management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and processes
- Experience with system integrations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Requires the ability to travel locally
