About the Role:
- Assessing job priorities and assigning employees to appropriate tasks
- Recording a daily job diary using HCSS Heavy Job software
- Understanding production requirements and meeting goals
- Keeping a set of as-built plans
- Submitting timecards and trucking reports weekly
- Maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring employees have necessary tools and equipment
- Overseeing work and ensuring it runs smoothly according to project plans
- Providing clear directions to crews to avoid repetitive mistakes or rework
- Maintaining company rules and policies among crew members
- Holding daily safety meetings and recording them in a log
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry
- Experience reading blueprints
- Field supervision experience required
- Possession of a valid driver's license
