Description: We're seeking a talented Security Analyst (SA) with a solid understanding of computer and network security, including firewall administration, encryption technologies, and network protocols.
Complete Description: This role involves providing tier one triage for information security incidents and occasional after-hours IT issues. Responsibilities include serving as the initial point of contact for the Security Operations Center, participating in incident handling processes such as discovery, analysis, verification, tracking, containment, recovery, incident response coordination, escalation, and notification. You'll also collaborate with other teams to remediate detected incidents and communicate intelligence to key personnel.

Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficiency in security technologies, including firewall, IDS, policy management, security processes/best-practices, logging/monitoring, antivirus, vulnerability assessment, patch management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with common and emerging attack vectors, penetration methods, and countermeasures.
- Understanding of conflict resolution and incident escalation preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with customers to solve business challenges while maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Capability to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations requiring complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought.
- Proficient in conveying both oral and written instructions and handling multiple task interruptions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Skill in translating technical information into non-technical language for diverse audiences.
- Commitment to high integrity and fostering a diverse working environment.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team of peers, and contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team environment.
