Description
This Pharmacy Tech will work in Emory Healthcare's Specialty Pharmacy located at the Emory University Hospital Midtown Campus. This position will play an integral role in supporting our day-to-day specialty pharmacy operations and ensuring patients are getting their specialty medications in a safe and timely manner.
DAY SHIFT: Applicants must be available to work 8a-5p during pharmacy hours (typical shifts 8a-4:30p or 8:30a-5p depending on need)
Applicants that have some experience working within a retail or specialty pharmacy is preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current CPhT certification through either PTCB or NHA and active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration, or current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy with a current Georgia Pharmacy Intern license.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of an ASHP accredited technician training program or enrollment in a professional-related school preferred.
- Six months experience as Pharmacy Technician or completion of ASHP-accredited tech training program preferred.
- Must maintain certification and registration through entire length of employment.
