Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officers to join our team as on call officers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security operations, with a focus on loss prevention and conflict management. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our designated locations, ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and assets.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor premises and gather evidence when necessary.
- Enforce regulations and policies to maintain order and safety within the facility.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid armed security license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
- SORA (armed) and either RPO or carry permit is a must!!!!!
