Salary Range : $127,180.61 - $212,868.12

Incentive : Incentive Stock Options, Equity Share Options

The VP of Technology Operations provides leadership across the Technology Group, maintaining a 360 view of the program portfolio whilst ensuring all technology teams are adequately staffed, trained and motivated to support the smooth running of the department. They will have a passion for delivery and an eye for detail, coupling excellent interpersonal skills and a data driven mindset to ensure accurate reporting & forecasting across the portfolio. This position will report to the Vice President of Technology Operations, and will work in a highly matrixed structure, working with technology teams across the company.

Responsibilities include Work : with leaders across the Technology Group to understand recruitment strategy and plans; provide insight on expected demand in accordance with the product roadmap. Partnering with leadership, ensure clear recruitment plans are in place for all areas. Identify areas of risk and opportunity between capacity supply and demand across teams, establishing mitigation and contingency plans as necessary. Maintain an accurate view of capacity at all times, ensuring the timely identification of potential issues. Partner with leadership to ensure consistency and sharing of learnings across technology teams, looking for opportunities to unify job roles & descriptions, and establishing best practices for recruitment of staff across the technology function.

Work across technology functions, and the wider business, to ensure clear career laddering opportunities, and identifying technology specific training needs and best practices to ensure consistency in approach across the group. Partner with technology finance to ensure that capacity plans are aligned to finance plans. Work with finance to understand key areas of risk and opportunity within both capex and operational budgets, and work with stakeholders across technology to minimize these risks and maximize opportunities. Provide leadership to the Technology Portfolio, providing analysis and reporting across the entire project and program portfolio. Establish best practices and processes for delivery and governance that will support appropriate reporting throughout the organization. Evangelize the need for appropriate tooling across the organization - ensuring information on staffing, projects & program are readily available across the organization to support timely decision making. Liaise with other PMOs around Empass to ensure cross-functional alignment and provide assurance around dependencies.

Devise department wide communication strategy, ensuring staff are kept abreast of team, company and industry wide developments and work to drive up engagement across all technology teams. Lead the communications team to provide appropriate exec friendly communications through PowerPoint and equivalent tooling, ensuring effective message tailoring and storytelling for the audience. Support the creation and management of department wide objectives, initiatives and goals - ensuring measures of success are defined and tracked - and that feedback from staff is also captured and reflected. Provide additional support specific to the Technology Delivery function, acting as a local specialist in team onboarding, recruitment and engagement as well as supporting this role across the Technology Group.

As part of the Technology Delivery leadership team, strive for continuous improvement in our processes and procedures - propose and implement changes to ensure a productive and efficient organization, in partnership with the wider team Qualifications / Requirements minimum 12 years of experience in a project management function or in a technology delivery capacity, preferably within the media, technology, or OTT sector.

Minimum of 4 years leading cross functional project teams, leading multi-work stream programs while scaling and driving resourcing strategies in a fast-growing environment

Desired Characteristics of Bachelor's degree level or equivalent, background in technology or engineering a significant plus o Experience working in a consulting or PMO function / capacity preferred :

Team leader and builder, demonstrable experience in defining roles & responsibilities, job descriptions and career pathing across an organization - able to provide examples of growing teams sustainably.

Proven ability to lead and motivate team members across disparate global teams. Track record building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across different business functions.

Data driven approach to management, strong understanding of financial principles and standard reporting mechanisms.

Track record of establishing efficient and repeatable processes and reporting to support intelligent enterprise-wide decision making.

Good understanding of delivery and program management best practices, ideally within the digital or OTT technology sector.

Good working understanding of agile software delivery at enterprise level. Expertise in establishing appropriate governance across portfolios, ensuring timely decision making and communications to executive leadership.

Capability to take initial ideas, concepts and strategy and shape into tangible and deliverable items. Excellent written and verbal communications, ability to tailor to all levels of an organization. Ability to explain the how and the why, not just the what and when.

Natural team leader, able to delegate effectively, empowering individuals whilst maintaining appropriate controls and monitoring.

Revenue Generation and Monetizing products with sales and transactional implementation.

Calm under pressure, able to make quick and rational decisions and maintain the focus of the team.
