Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of residents.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement opportunities for residents.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, behavior changes, and any incidents that may arise.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Advocate for the rights of residents while respecting their dignity and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Experience
- Prior experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with autism is highly desirable.
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is beneficial.
- Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy practices is an asset.
- Cooking skills are a plus for meal preparation responsibilities.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
