About The Team
The Finance team at Empathy ensures smooth financial operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The team plays a crucial role in handling:
- Payroll
- Benefits
- Employee-related financial processes
In this role you will:
Finance Operations:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day finance operations related to people processes, including payroll administration and benefits management.
- Ensure adherence to company finance policies and processes, driving consistency and compliance across operations.
- Support the U.S. monthly close and Budget vs. Actual (BVA) processes, providing accurate financial insights and reconciliation.
- Oversee travel operations processes, ensuring efficient handling of employee travel-related expenses and reimbursements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, labor codes, and company policies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of personal income tax legislation, social benefits, and employment laws, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all payroll and benefits processes.
- Utilize payroll-related systems and software with proficiency to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of payroll and benefits strategies.
- Collaborate with sales leadership, business operations, and other departments to align sales processes and operations.
- Provide expert-level guidance on payroll and benefits to employees, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve finance operations.
- 4 years of experience in finance operations, payroll, or a related field.
- Expertise in:
- Payroll processing
- Benefits administration
- Tax regulations
- Strong understanding of U.S. personal income tax legislation, labor codes, and social benefits.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
- Proficiency with payroll-related systems and financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
