Job Description
Assemble automation equipment/systems utilizing engineering BOMs, blueprints, and schematics
Position Responsibilities:
- Assemble custom automation-style blast systems including all peripheral equipment utilizing engineering documentation
- Inspect and test the finished product for compliance with customer specifications
- Report all material shortages and documentation errors to the supervisor
- Maintain a safe and organized workstation
- Other duties as assigned
Role Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent is required; trade school with electrical and mechanical training is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial OEM assembly environment
- Must own commonly used hand tools and measuring devices
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Capable of utilizing a wide variety of hand, power, and measuring tools
- Solid understanding of pneumatics, electrical assemblies, and general machine operations
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all team members in a professional manner.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Forklift operating experience is desired, but not required.
- Experience with electrical wiring and installation is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Work environment includes regular exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing, and foot protection
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working on a scissors lift
