Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for collaboratively developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy across all traditional dimensions.
Manage apparel and promotional items
- Maintain inventory
- Approve purchases
- Reconcile invoices
- Develop new items
- Collaboratively develop new print and digital ad creative
- Collaboratively develop in-market messaging themes
- Collaboratively develop new email banners
- Collaboratively develop in-market communication vehicles – direct mail, email, advertorial, tradeshow materials
- Manage the Empire Canine Mascot project
- Collaborate on and execute external brand messaging strategy, including reputation management
- Work with media organizations to place developed creatives
- Strategize with media sales contacts on promotional opportunities
- Develop/curate content and maintain company’s social media sites – LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Google, GlassDoor, etc.
- Develop and execute a broader video content strategy beyond simple customer testimonials, to include value proposition case studies, executive perspectives, process highlights, customer interviews, etc.
- Support Empire’s school donation efforts (CREF) and other industry/charitable initiatives (NABC, CIF, TechForce, holiday food and toy drives, etc.)
- Facilitate monthly VOC call lists
- Facilitate distribution of actionable VOC items to relevant stakeholders
- Brainstorm and execute video customer testimonial strategy
- Collection

- Develop and execute a strategy to gain a better understanding of customer needs and integrate learnings into appropriate company initiatives
- Leverage data from VOC surveys
- Coordinate customer focus groups
- Identify other research channels
- Work collaboratively with sales leadership to develop effective sales collateral

- PowerPoint presentations
- Schedule and facilitate regular internal sales roundtable sessions
- Develop and maintain common objections documentation
- Enhance Empire website
- Write and distribute press releases
- Produce internal company newsletter and other ‘print’ vehicles
- Collaborate on the development, and manage the execution, of regular video messaging from company leaders
- Collaborate on the creation of Pulse surveys and other HR communication/engagement initiatives
- Assist in the management of internal contests
- Assist in the development of 40th anniversary recognition
- Collaborate and execute the company’s new branding in the second half of 2025.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on corporate communications and brand management.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
