Empire Building Diagnostics, Inc. is a diversified 37-year-old demolition contractor with offices in Buffalo, Syracuse, and Albany NY. Growth is underway and we are looking for an independent and dynamic individual to be an integral part of our growing team and help expand our customer base and promote our core services in the Southern Tier Regions of New York State.
As the EBD Executive, you will be one of the main points of contact and forward face of the company. This role is critical to the business growth. Using our business development tools along with arranging engaging conversations and face to face meetings with potential customers to demonstrate the reliability of the core services that EBD provides with the goal of building a working relationship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
· Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers.
· Monitor local periodicals and news sources to be aware of upcoming major project.
· Develop and implement a territory action plan focused on fast growth including on-site visits.
· Identify prospects, make cold call and cold field visits, set appointments, and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
· Generate customer quotes with accuracy and make effective presentations by tailoring to the customer’s specific needs.
· Analyze the territory potential, identify opportunities, and duplicate proven successes by the company.
· Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals assigned to the territory.
· Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and providing world class customer service.
· Work effectively with cross functional teams to coordinate sales efforts and shorten the sales cycle.
· Track sales results and submit accurate sales reports to management in a timely manner.
· Provide management with competitive information obtained during sales calls to identify ideas for new products and services, report industry updates and track trending pricing trends.
· Development of relationships with large general contractors, construction managers, engineering firms, and real estate developers.
· Regular updating and utilization of the companies CRM system.
Skills and Qualifications:
· High-energy and strong Networking attributes; with the ability to not only build but maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.
· Sales experience in commercial and industrial sales in the New York regions.
· Highly motivated and target driven self-starter.
· 3 years of Outside Sales/ Business Development experience.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
· High proficiency in MS Office/ Outlook.
· Valid Driver License and ability to travel within the sales territory. Overnight travel may be required.
· Strong record keeping using a CRM system.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience working within or selling to industrial facilities/markets in the Central and Eastern New York area.
· Effective cold-calling techniques.
· Proficiency with sales management software (HubSpot a plus)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
