Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Buffalo, NY, for a Payroll HR Specialist. The Payroll HR Specialist will manage and process payroll, ensure compliance with HR policies, handle employee benefits, and oversee personnel management. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining payroll records, updating employee information, preparing payroll reports, and addressing payroll-related inquiries. Additionally, the specialist will assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, administering employee benefits, and supporting HR management activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management
- Knowledge of HR Policies and ability to implement them
- Proficiency in managing and processing Employee Benefits
- Strong Personnel Management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing
- Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- knowledge of prevailing wage and unions
- Experience in certified payroll reporting
- Prepare and process weekly payroll taxes, 401k, garnishments, and temp labor invoices.
