Job Title: IT Support Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support the maintenance of our IT systems. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

· Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and other peripherals.

· Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks.

· Respond to technical support requests and resolve issues promptly.

· Provide in-person and remote technical support to employees.

· Set up user accounts and assist with onboarding new staff.

· Repair and replace faulty equipment as needed.

· Test and evaluate new technology.

· Offer technical guidance and training to end-users.

· Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment.

· Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.

· Perform system updates and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.

Qualifications:

· Basic knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software.

· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical users.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.

· Understanding of network configurations and protocols.

· Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional IT certifications are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
